About City View “Still a Little Bit Of Country”

Why Choose City View? “Still a bit of country in the heart of Ottawa! “

City View Community is an established neighbourhood with mature trees on large lots and many new homes on tree lined streets. It boasts a country ambiance within a friendly and vibrant Community Association.

The Association puts on several community events each year from Summer Fun Day, Euchre Card Nights, and Halloween Party to Fall Corn Roast, Farmer’s Market, a Community Skating Rink and a Winter Carnival with Sleigh Rides. In addition, in a recent collaboration with The Nepean Museum we sponsor “History Hub Cafe” for the members of our community.

There are diversified age groups living in City View from new young families to grandparents and many community events for all to enjoy. Getting to know your neighbours and programs such as Neighbourhood Watch ensures that all feel safe and secure in the heart of beautiful City View in Ottawa.

City View is a wonderfully central location in Ottawa with easy walking access to restaurants and shopping destinations such as College Square and Merivale Road.

Algonquin College, 2 branches of the Ottawa Public Library, Centre Pointe Theatre, several medical facilities and the new Woodroffe Transportation Hub are all an easy walk. The public Transportation Hub and 2 Queensway access points at Woodroffe and Maitland Avenue give you quick and easy access to all parts of the city in mere minutes.

The City View Community Association’s mission is to build a stronger, vibrant and safe community and to empower residents of our neighbourhood. We wish to promote community spirit, pride and fellowship among our citizens.

Welcome to our community!
