HORTICULTURAL NEWS:

Our City View community has a local chapter of the Nepean Horticultural Society with several events which may be of interest to our neighbourhood residents, gardeners and  children & youth ages 6 to 16.
Saturday, May 9 from 1 to 4 pm a FLOWER SHOW will be held at the Nepean Museum on Rowley Street. Come and see what a flower show is like.
Youth (6 to16) and adult participants are invited to join Nepean Horticultural Society “Where Gardeners Grow” and compete in the O.H.A. Flower Show August 15, 2015. Youth Membership cost is $1 and there are monetary prizes.
Saturday, May 23 between 2 and 4pm there will be some plants and seeds to give away to help youth participants    (2 age categories: 6 to 8 & 9 to 16) a head start in the District 2, OHA Flower Show, August 15, 2015.
Thursday, May 21 at 6:30 pm, a giant plant auction and sale will be held at City View United Church.
Saturday, August 15th The OHA Flower Show will be at City View United Church.
