Merivale Road Secondary Plan (MRSP)
The CVCA was successful in getting the MRSP reinstated in the new draft Official Plan. It had previously been revoked in the first draft and the CVCA lobbied the City with the help of our Councillor and had it re-established.

The new draft Official Plan in its entirety will be presented to the Planning Committee on Oct 14/15, 2021.

99 Bill Leathem Drive Giant Warehouse – South Nepean Business Park
Application for a giant warehouse at 99 Bill Leathem Drive will be presented at Planning Committee on Sept 23, 2021. The CVCA has concerns regarding the truck traffic on Merivale Road which is estimated at 1,000 tractor trailer trucks per day, 250 during peak hours in and out of warehouse with no direct links to the 400 Highways. 75 Granton Ave
The Planning Committee meeting for 75 Granton will probably will not be heard until sometime in November. The CVCA will be notified 10 days prior to the date and that is when we will be able to register to speak on the rezoning of this property.
The CVCA and a number of concerned residents are busy preparing submissions as well lobbying City Councillors to prevent R2 zoning in our R1FF community.
43 Rossland Ave
The CVCA has received numerous complaints on the height of the new build at 43 Rossland Ave (Rossland at Pender). Reports have been filed with our Councillor, the Planning department and 311 and the Development Inspection Office is investigating and we are waiting for their response.
