Big Thanks to the Rink Team!

They ran a schedule to keep the community rink flooded, cleared and skateable during a time when we needed it most. In addition, past Rink Team Lead, Todd Austen, was recognized for his contributions over the past five years.

Revised Constitution & Bylaws Approved

The revised CVCA constitution and new bylaws were approved. The revised constitution now and new bylaws reflect CVCA’s current incorporated status and include a code of conduct for board members. Thank you to Paul Francis of Francis Lawyers for their work on these documents.

Financials Approved for 2019 & 2020

The CVCA financial statements for the last two years were presented and approved. Note that there was no AGM in 2020 resulting in dual years being presented. In 2019, CVCA’s revenue was $4,990 and expenses were $6,482. In 2020, revenue was $3,293 and expenses were $1,375. It was a quiet year with few expenses due to Covid-19 and lack of social events. As of Jan. 1, 2021, the CVCA’s balance was $3,978.
