Many of you have noticed that the slide at Doug Frobel Park has been closed for several weeks due to vandalism. We have contacted the City to fix the slide and the slide is ordered but experiencing delays due to supply issues. In addition, for several weekends broken bottles and glass have been found in the playground and surrounding fields. We are working with the Ottawa Police in addressing this repetitive issue. Please take caution at the park and report suspicious behaviour to the Ottawa Police. Requests to clean up broken glass and maintenance of the park can be made to 3-1-1. 

It is our hope that the slide will soon be fixed and that our park remains a safe place for children of the neighbourhood to play.
