WINTER PIONEER CHALLENGE & CARNIVAL
Hosted by the Nepean Museum and City View Community Association.
Sunday, February 22, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Nepean Museum, 16 Rowley Ave.
Cost: $16/family, $10/pair or $6/person
Includes Horse Drawn Wagon rides drawn by 2 lovely calm horses on City View streets
Challenge your friends and family to a series of outdoor and indoor activities for all ages,
from snowshoeing and snowman building to tabletop curling and crafts.
Learn what winter was like for some of Nepean’s first settlers while enjoying the best the season has
to offer!
Warm up with a pancake and turkey sausage breakfast $2 and hot chocolate
$1, and tour the neighbourhood on a horse-drawn wagon.

Euchre Nights from 7- 9 pm on March 31 and April 28. Even if you don’t know how to play or are a
beginner, come out and meet your neighbours for a fun evening hosted by City View Community
Association.
History Hub Coffee Club, every second until April 21, from 10-11 a.m. This program is an
opportunity for older adults to share stories about living in City View while exploring Nepean’s past. $6
per person or $5 for City View Community Association members.
March Break Camp: Settlers Through Time, March 16-20, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Kids 5 to 7 years
will have explore a new topic each day through games, crafts and hands-on activities. $6/child.
Skating on our Community Rink is available behind the Museum any day.
