The City View Community Association (CVCA) has always put the betterment of the community first. Our mission is to build a stronger, vibrant and safe community and to empower residents of our neighbourhood. We wish to promote community spirit, pride and fellowship among our citizens. 

With the recent news surrounding Ward 8 Councillor Chiarelli, we wanted to state that the CVCA is not a political organization and we do not take a political stance. Despite this, in July 2020, a letter was submitted requesting the Councillor’s resignation. He has not resigned and we must move forward. The CVCA will continue to work with the Councillor’s Office for the betterment of City View. We will not let the situation within the Councillor’s Office or City of Ottawa further hurt our community. We sincerely hope a resolution is near.
