Tree Giveaway with Ecology Ottawa

When: June 12, 10am – 1pm
The Nepean Museum (16 Rowley Ave.)

Ecology Ottawa is embarking on our largest tree giveaway in Ottawa’s history! Help us re-plant Ottawa’s urban forest by picking up one of 15,000 seedlings that are looking for new homes on your private property. Drop by and be part of a great initiative. Pick up a baby tree to bring home, plant the seeds of Tomorrow.

Trees are provided for individuals so they can plant them on private property.  Click here to view the species list.

The Tree Giveaway event is being organized on a sliding scale this year – meaning they will be adapted based on the most up-to-date public health recommendations. Safety is our top priority, and these events will be set up for “curbside pick-up” until it is safe to gather.

This event may be postponed due to the province shutdown, we will email if that is the case.

Learn more about this event on the Ecology Ottawa website.
